An amazing mood enhancer and mental stimulant, this woodsy scent is perfect for uplifting your spirits and calming negative emotions. It smooths and even tones your skin, while reducing inflammation and irritation, making it great for skin issues such as psoriasis, eczema and rosacea. This essential oil is particularly good for boosting skin hydration and has been pre-diluted with Jojoba oil.

Little Known Facts: Sandalwood is an evergreen tree that can grow up to 50 feet and is considered an endangered species (which is makes it a very pricey essential oil).  This tree requires dry and rocky environments in addition to needing nutrients from surrounding host plants. It takes 30 years for a Sandalwood tree to be suitable for harvesting! The essential oil is found mainly in the hard, inner part of the trunk (heartwood) and roots. The older the tree, the higher the proportion of heartwood.

Recipes:

Refreshing Aromatherapy Blend

  • Add 10 drops of Sandalwood 10%
  • 4 drops of Frankincense
  • 4 drops of Grapefruit
  • 3 drops of Patchouli
  • Add to your Mila Eve Essentials Diffuser for aromatherapy. Be sure to properly clean your diffuser after using Sandalwood 10%, as it is pre-diluted with Jojoba which can clog your diffuser.
After Shave/Beard Oil/Skincare
  • Add 3 drops of Myrrh
  • 3 drops of Frankincense
  • 4 drops of Neroli 3%
  • 5 drops of Sandalwood 10%
  • 5 drops of Helichrysum
  • Add to oz of Mila Eve Essentials Jojoba oil and apply as often as needed, especially after shaving. Can also be used for daily skincare and maintenance.

    Dry Skin Recipe

    • Add 10 drops of Sandalwood 10%
    • 4 drops of Patchouli
    • 4 drops of Lavender
    • 3 drops of Myrrh
    • Add to 1oz of your Mila Eve Essentials Almond Oil to relieve dry skin.
