Whether you are traveling domestically or abroad, never leave home without your Mila Eve Essentials! My children and I are traveling throughout Tanzania and I wanted to share some of my must-haves when I travel internationally, especially to places with a warmer climate. The best part is you can keep them in your carry on bag due to their small size! I always keep a few with me at all times and I store the rest in my travel organizer in my checked luggage. I take even more than what's listed, however, if you're wanting to narrow it down, here are some of my top choices.
Oregano- also known as natures antibiotic,
there are endless great qualities from clearing congestion, reducing nagging coughs, soothing sore throats, boosting your immune system and more.
Peppermint- excellent for relief from bug bites or to cool down your body‘s temperature by applying to the back of your neck or to your abdomen.
Sleep Tight- A must have especially when switching time zones throws off your sleep pattern. This essential blend will get you to that good REM sleep in minutes!
Breathe Easy- Open up your airways by applying it to your neck and chest before bed or to relieve nagging, coughs and congestion
Self Defense- boost your immune system while traveling by applying a few drops to the bottoms of your feet and down your spine. You can also make your own antibacterial spray by adding 20 drops to a 1 ounce spray bottle of distilled or spring water.
Tea tree- Perfect for bumps and rashes that may Appear out of nowhere due to long flights and germs that you may pick up along the way, Acne breakouts, headaches, bug bites and more. This is a must have antiseptic.
Stomach Relief- while traveling and enjoying cultural foods, sometimes your stomach needs relief from achiness, gas, and bloating. Apply directly to the abdomen as needed for relief.
Helichrysum- also known as nature’s healer, you can use this amazing anti- inflammatory essential oil for any bumps, bruises and scars as it increases the speed of cell regeneration.
